For multi-plunger, and multi flow stream homogenizer service.

| CAUTION: Generally called a "dimensional drawing" this is a PulseGuard viewsheet. The length to diameter ratio(s) are not to the same scale. |
DESIGN FEATURES that this view sheet shows:
Pulse dampeners are bolted for ease of cleaning / sterilization. These pulsation dampeners are quick release to minimize down time.
PULSATION DAMPENERS FOR MINIMAL DOWN TIME
Dampeners are released from a flow-through piping base block. Simply remove 4 bolts.
DAMPENERS WITH MULTI PORT "thru-flo"
The Dampener flo-thru base block is securely mounted, and has up to five port. The multi port system enables use as the confluence of multiple flows.
DAMPENERS FOR SYSTEMS CONTAINING LIQUIDS WITH SOLIDS
The Dampener "capsule" when replaced with a standby capsule, can be easily serviced, and or striped for immersion in a sterilizing bath, because of its bolted construction. The Dampener has the beverage, food, pharmaceutical, or drug liquid inside its bladder.
A PULSATIONSDÄMPFER designed for better in place flushability.
As the pulsation flexes the bladder, any particulate or solids are agitated free from the dampener bladder. This is in preference to being on the outside of a gas filled balloon or bag, which packs the solids against the canister wall.
USING "liquid inside the BLADDER" TYPE of PULSATION DAMPENERS.
These Pulsation dampeners must have a nitrogen, or in some specific cases air, pre-fill outside the rolling bladder. Pre-filling is done before pumping your liquid. The pre-fill cushion gas pressure will prevent the bladder being unrolled and flattened against the inside of the nitrogen bonnet housing.
PRE-FILLING Sometimes called "Pre-Charging"
Pre-Filling the Pulsation Dampeners is done through the stainless steel valve provided. The valve does not require any special tools. There is no "tire valve pin core" in the valve. The valve is opened and closed with a 3/4" (20mm) A/F wrench. Please see inset item 1.
THRU-FLOW flow divider.
The Dampeners base block has a flow divider plate, "y", or "x" that separates the flow streams until each has been smoothed by the dampener capsule. Please see bottom left.
TYPICAL APPLICATION
Beverage, orange juice with "pulp" - why the liquid is orange color in the view.
